About Me
Hi! Nice to meet you. Let me introduce myself. I am Amber; a 23-year-old student at TU Delft. In 2019 I finished my bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and continued with a double Master's degree in both Strategic Product Design and Integrated Product Design. I expect to graduate in April 2023 and am open to work afterward.

Combining my two master's enables me to keep in mind all facets of good design during every process step. I believe that good design evokes enthusiasm in the designer, user, and other stakeholders with minimal harm to our planet. Above all, I think design thinking can be used as a strategic tool to find patterns and ask the right questions regarding complex problem-solving.

I study, work, and live in Delft, where I am active in multiple student societies and pursue my love for hockey, fitness, drawing, and rowing.

Integrated Product Design
During my master's Integrated Product Design I have learned about all stages of the design process and its challenges while keeping the user in mind. The focus of the master's was mostly on conceptualization and prototyping, which helped me develop my skills in 3D printing, epoxy lamination, and rapid prototyping in a team.

Strategic Product Design
During my Master's Strategic Product Design, I have not only learned how to design strategic concepts, but also why to create them. Through tools such as the ViP method and road mapping, I am able to combine branding, marketing, and visualization to create strategies that are sustainable and attainable for both big companies and start-ups. During my courses, I have carried out projects for companies such as Ford and Rabobank, but I have also designed visual material for start-ups in need of a completely new brand image.

Sports
During my student time, I started rowing at student society Laga. Next to this I play hockey and regularly go to the gym. Being active is something I love doing. It is a celebration of what I'm capable of and a great way to clear my head. One of my passions is SCUBA diving, and I hope to become a dive master one day.
